Haltom City
Haltom City sits in Tarrant County, about six miles from downtown Fort Worth, boxed in by Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Watauga and Richland Hills. Interstate 820, SH 121, SH 183 and SH 26 all run through or along it, so we can be on the other side of town in a few minutes. The city was incorporated in 1949. Like most of North Texas, the houses here mostly sit on slab foundations, and the water heater is usually in the garage or the attic.
