Hurst is just east of Richland Hills and North Richland Hills, and Loop 820 and the Airport Freeway put it a few minutes from our door. It's about ten square miles, with North East Mall and Bell in the middle of it and neighborhoods on every side.
Where We Work in Hurst
West of Precinct Line Road, near us, that's the streets around Bellaire Drive, Hurstview Drive, Norwood Drive and Brown Trail, and the older neighborhoods around Hurst Hills Park, Bellaire Park and Redbud Park. Along Pipeline Road and Bedford Euless Road it's a mix of homes and small commercial. North of the Airport Freeway we cover the areas around Harwood Road, Mid Cities Boulevard, Cannon Drive and the neighborhoods near Chisholm Park, Central Park and the Hurst Athletic Complex. Grapevine Highway and Melbourne Road round out the east side.
What We See Here
South of the freeway the calls tend to come from single-story homes on slab with the water heater in the garage. Supply lines, water heaters and washing machine hoses keep us busy there. North of the freeway more of the calls are two-story houses, second-floor bathrooms and laundry rooms leaking through a ceiling. Either way it's the same work: get the water out, get it dry.
Landmarks
North East Mall, the Bell plant off Bell Flight Boulevard, Tarrant County College Northeast Campus and the Hurst/Bell rail station are the landmarks people use when they call. L.D. Bell High School and Hurst Junior High, both HEB ISD schools, are the ones parents use. If you're near any of them, you're inside our normal run.
